The inspiration for this collection:

I wanted to capture the enchanting beauty of my hometown in southern Louisiana, a place where nature and culture intertwine. This collection is a visual ode to the breathtaking landscapes that have shaped my perspective and inspired my artistic journey. Through the interplay of vibrant colors, intricate brushstrokes, balance of realism and abstraction, and a deep emotional connection to the scenery, I aim to convey the essence of these moments—moments that remind us of the interconnectedness of nature and our own existence within it.

The heart of this collection lies in the vivid hues that have always resonated with me—the colors of my soul and the colors of my favorite memories. Rich, earthy tones mingle with the effervescent blues and greens of bayous and wetlands, creating a visual symphony that echoes the diverse and unique natural tapestry of southern Louisiana.
